Cloud & DevOps

Deploy on Friday. Sleep on Saturday.

We build the platform underneath your product: cloud architecture that scales, pipelines that ship in minutes, infrastructure defined as code, and observability that pages the right person with the right context.

Where teams get stuck

The problems we are usually called in for.

Problem 01

Snowflake servers

Environments configured by hand years ago. Nobody can recreate production, so nobody dares to change it.

Problem 02

Deploys that need a war room

Releases happen at midnight with three people on a call. Rollback is a prayer.

Problem 03

A cloud bill nobody can explain

Spend grows 30% a year with no link to usage. Reserved instances expire unnoticed.

Problem 04

Monitoring that alerts on everything and nothing

Hundreds of alerts a week, all ignored. The real outage is discovered by a customer.

What we deliver

Capabilities, not buzzwords.

Each of these is a thing we have shipped and supported in production. Ask us for the specifics on a call.

  1. 01

    Cloud architecture & migration

Landing zones, network design, identity and workload migration on AWS, Azure or GCP, with a cutover plan that does not require downtime.

  2. 02

    Kubernetes & containers

Production-grade clusters (EKS, AKS, GKE or bare metal) with autoscaling, ingress, secrets management and GitOps deployment.

  3. 03

    CI/CD pipelines

Build, test, scan and deploy automation in GitHub Actions, GitLab CI or Azure DevOps with preview environments per pull request.

  4. 04

    Infrastructure as code

Terraform and Pulumi modules, reviewed and versioned like application code.

  5. 05

    Observability

Metrics, logs and traces in Grafana, Prometheus, OpenTelemetry or Datadog, with SLOs and alerting that means something.

  6. 06

    Security & compliance

Least-privilege IAM, secrets rotation, vulnerability scanning and audit trails aligned to SOC 2 and ISO 27001 controls.

  7. 07

    Cost optimization

Rightsizing, reserved capacity, spot strategies and tagging discipline, typically paying for itself in the first quarter.

How it runs

The same five steps, tuned for this practice.

Discovery first, architecture before code, weekly demos, staged deployment and SLA-backed operation.

01

Discover

Two weeks to understand the problem, the constraints and the people. We leave with a written brief, a risk register and a scope you can sign.

02

Architect

System design, security model, data flow and cost estimate, reviewed with your team before anyone writes production code.

03

Build

Weekly demos of working software. Typed, tested, reviewed. You see progress, not status reports.

04

Deploy

Staged rollouts with monitoring in place before launch. Runbooks written. Rollback rehearsed.

05

Operate

SLA-backed support, scheduled improvements and a named engineer who knows the system.

Engagement

Ways to engage this practice.

Fixed-scope project

Defined deliverables, milestones and price. Best for well-understood builds with a clear finish line.

Dedicated team

A cross-functional squad embedded with your product, billed monthly. Best for evolving products and long roadmaps.

Team extension

Senior engineers who join your existing team under your process. Best for capacity and specialist skills.

FAQ

Questions about cloud work.

Can you migrate us from on-premise to the cloud?

Yes. We have run lift-and-shift, re-platform and full re-architecture migrations. We start with an assessment that maps dependencies and recommends the right approach per workload.

Do we need Kubernetes?

Not always. For many products a managed container service or serverless platform is simpler and cheaper. We will tell you when Kubernetes is the wrong answer.

How do you handle secrets and access?

Centralized secrets management, short-lived credentials, SSO-backed access and audit logging. No shared passwords in spreadsheets.

Can you reduce our cloud costs?

In most engagements we find 20–40% of spend that can be eliminated without affecting performance, and we report savings against a baseline.

Do you provide 24/7 operations?

Through our managed support service: monitoring, on-call response and scheduled maintenance under an SLA.
